And save my heart from needless pain
Rescue me from desolation
And here I wait for you.
I was told to stay right here and anticipate you
I canonize you with nonsensical expectations
My life a decrepit chasm
And here I wait for you.
Constantly I think of you
Longing for your loving caress
Wondering when I will truly know your essence
And here I wait for you.
My heart yearns to hear yours beat
Patiently I sit and wait
I ache for knowledge of you
And here I wait for you.

LilDarlinover 19 years agoLovley, light, sensually sweet. I loved this poem. The flow was smooth and soft. Imagery just settles over ya like a sweet slow rain. Wonderful wording an endearing thoughts.
