and i was alone
with my story
my colors and sounds
Radiohead on, Reckoner i think
but the sounds for me
torn and floating heavy
drip this angst to the river
of souls in twin death
show each a way, path
something ahead so they don’t glance behind
at the other stories
keening hearts born dry
feed them love and silent ears
hope for them but walk away
let them find
they are alone, as was i
but stories will come
stories and fire and Radiohead too
