…And the Aussie
will tell me
things of gold
and silver linings.

Dark clouds,
once white
With purity and hope.

He will tell
of rivers
and valleys
yet to be traveled.
A hand gracefully
Holding another.

He will speak
of dreams
and champion the day
of picket fences
and sunflowers.

Tell of love
that even the skilled
Cupid dare not aim.
For fear of ruining
what already is
a glorious union.

…And the Aussie
will tell of things
yet to be seen,
to be felt,
lips yet to be touched
and bodies joined.

He will tell
The story of
a man and a woman.
