And Then came the calm...
-------------------------
By: Jc

The final moments in my smile
faded after just a while
you were back again to sap my strength
with just a smile in your defence
I obviously knew why you had come
between you and I it was all done
just to rip whats left of me
or just to show whats left to see
I asked you if u still loved me
you answered as you always did,
you say "yes, I do"
i said " i love you 2"
even though our love was through
i would have slain the world for you...
you never loved me and i never loved you
its a fact we both know its true
our love was never made to last
2 long years have passed by so fast
weve always been friends and never lovers
although i did ofer you so
our friendship still is a disaster
why are you still here though?
Is it more than you say
more than you show? did i forget to ask?
something i was not told before?
something from your past?
who could you be
my past leslie
or even my present nicole
i can not say until this day
for even i dont know...
And then came the calm
the answer to all
i guess it was neither of you
what made me this way
was not u or her
but my own fear of being alone...
