An angel came while I slept,
While I dreamt of mortal flesh.

From the night,
Into my bed.

She lay upon me.

Her wings caressed my skin,
Her lips, my cheek.

Though I slept.
My body did not rest.
Her fingers trailed down my chest
Her toes up my calves.

In my dream,
A blessed angel spoke,
And told me not to cry.

Burning with lust,
My desire, would not idle.
Slowly, this angel,
Took me to her Eden.

A liquid silk of flame,
Engorged me,
Head to toe.

It lasted for an eon of seconds.
I no longer knew my name,
Nor my flesh, from hers.

I was blind.
I was deaf.
I was mute.
I was not numb.

The tip of each hair on my body was pinned by a finger of light.

When I woke my body was stone,
I could not move,
I could not speak,
I knew not the words to express my pleasure.
My lips tasted like an angel lover.

I could never know passion again.
