I pray for her appearance, anticipation delays
Her presence heals, warm and tender
Comforting a soul, a gift of sweet devotion.
Aura surreal, the glow with her smile
hair of radiant gold, gown of pure white
Pristine is her love, her loyalty abounds
She touches my face, her fingers in my hair.
Lying down beside me, taking her place
Notes of soothing tempo, her singing a delight
Weary head she caresses, taking to her breast
Soft pillows of compassion, a champion’s reward
Her wings wrap ‘round me, shield out Earth’s sorrow.
The burdens have lifted, loneliness escapes
Unblemished slumber, ‘till dawn of daybreak
Brings forth a new hope, a better tomorrow.
