Though my heart was broken by your silence

Free yourself from from all your worries
Leave the weight of your transgressions behind,
Lift yourself upon my shoulders
For I shall need all of you to mend this broken heart of mine.
For you I shall work night and day
Repairing the tatters in your wings,
And all I ask is your love completely
And just one simple thing.
Take the pieces from my heart,
The ones you shattered unintentionally,
With you to heaven when you take flight
So that I may be with you eternally.
