Sometimes I wonder
Why I can’t forget
It was six months ago
The day when you left
But still the fighting
Is not through yet
It was an hour ago
When you crossed my mind
I still want to know
What I’m trying to find
It was a moment ago
When she came into my life
And now I have to know
If the time is right
I was trapped in a love
I thought was forever
She had me so damned fooled
I can’t seem to forget her

That ended in a never
No face to face goodbye
It was said in a letter
I was trapped in a love
That changed us together
She for the worse
And me for the better

That chained us together
We were united everywhere
How can I forget her.
I was freed from a love
That I thought was strong
I was so mistaken
It was so damn wrong
I was freed from a love
Where I was strung along
But in that weakness
I finally became strong
I was freed from a love
And I’m glad she’s finally gone
I’m living a good life
And happy to move on
I was freed from a love
Where I was trapped in her thongs
But I still broke free
