I ran my fingers lovingly
Through curls of silken red hair
Into her green eyes I longingly did stare
We kissed before the empty bed
Beckoning
Inviting
Tempting us slaves to unfetter our chains
Recklessly delve deeper into desires
Abandon daily routines without care
Through the window
Beyond her freckled pale shoulder
Speckled moon rising in the night growing colder
Moment of reckoning swiftly drawing nearer
It began restlessly stirring within my bones
Awakening
Stretching
Distorting
Exercising an unholy foreign tongue
Whispering,
Take her soon
The sooner the better
Under agitated skin
The beast began to crawl
An eclipsing presence taking over all
Things comprising my essence were shifting
Rifting
Splitting
Sitting across from her
She was becoming something else as well
A meaty morsel this creature of habit ravenously craves
I said to her,
Run!
Run while you still are free!
Run little girl
Away from me!
You don't want to know
What's becoming of this man
Run now child before you see!
She hesitated
Frozen
In a heartbroken trance
Wept
Shadows on the wall flailed in an unearthly dance
As I writhed and thrashed in resistance
Failing
Fleeting
Fading
The pleading for her to be given one last chance
Suddenly
Through the window
Over porch railing
She leapt
A lone howl shattering the night air
Silvery sphere in the sky having yet to peak
She never once looked back
Unable to vocalize the sheer terror
Shriek
Scream
Speak of the nightmare
Rapidly shortening the distance behind her
Charging in a frenzied madness
Senses sharpening beyond the mild
T'was the curse of being a devil's child
Overwhelming in the hunt
The unique scent of her cunt
Willingly galloping on all fours
Into the wild
Bent on killing
What would certainly come to be
Another lost love to lament
