Anxiety, yes, that's what I feel,
anxiety and anticipation.
I anticipate your touch, your warmth,
your comfort, your familiarity.
And yet, I feel anxiety, anxious, fearful that
the comfort and warmth that
I remember may not be there.

But I will go to you anyway,
the anxiety will subside, the anticipation
wll disipate and we will face one
another like many times before,
and bare ourselves to one another;
Our feelings and emotions colliding,
gliding, flowing parallel.

Once again we share or love,
Our feelings,
Our honesty.

Getting past that churning in your gut

You find there are other emotions more fulfilling.
