why does it hurt so much, as you struggle in...
a relationship, tearing out your heart, so quickly grinds to an end...
leaving you sighing, laughing, crying, and dying within...
as you struggle, constantly, with the thought of how...why, and when:
as you watch part of your soul and dreams, wash quickly down the drain....
you wonder...ponder...and think...
barely holding together, considering whether, you'll someday meet again...
or is it possible to ever, ruling out never, be "just friends":
memories...moments, following, stalking, doubling your every woe...
causing your feeble tears to crawl, fall and eventually flow...
as the emptiness inside, subsides, refines, and begin to grow...
the beginning...yet not ending...of letting go.
