The Apache's were "Gourilla" fighters,
And NO OTHER Indians fought as well.
They learned how to survive in the desert,
And everyone of them could raise PURE "Hell!"

The Desert is a really HARSH "Misstress,"
With "Cactus" everywhere and "Rattlesnakes."
There's "Scorpians" and "Gilla Monsters" too,
And VERY LITTLE water to "partake!"

The desert's NEVER OFFERED much "Bounty,"
But the Apache's learned HOW to SURVIVE.
They could run ALL DAY with little water,
And STILL fight the battle when they arrived!

The Soldiers of the U.S. Cavalry,
Tried every way they could to win the war.
But "TIME" alone is what won the battle,
The Apache's WERE "FIGHTERS" to the CORE!!
