Arrogance

So many want to obtain what they do not have,
Always thinking the grass is green on the other side.
When some achieve the other side is it really green?

So many cry for love that is lost,
Always thinking there was something they should have done in a different way,
You never know how good it is until it’s gone.

So many are miserable, in addition want everyone else to be.
Why penalize others?
Does it really make them feel better, or do they sink further into depression?

So many suffer in depression
Wondering when the end might come.
Not really trying, or asking for help.

So many ask for God’s help,
Yet curse him in another breath.
He didn’t answer my prayers, why did he do this?

So many think we make our own destiny,
So many stay behind, waiting for other’s to deicide theirs,
If you let them deicide - are you really happy?

When they look at the world in the big picture what do they see?
Do the see despair, hopelessness, anger, or just not care?
Where did the hope, the faith, happiness, and the caring go?
Is it extinct, or something each one of us could alter?
