I hear your footsteps in the hall.
My heart quickens in breathless anticipation.
Amazing how even the slightest presence affects me…
As if our intimate bond ensnares our senses as well as our bodies.
I can feel my blood…. Pulsing, searing through my veins.
I close my eyes to savor the feeling…
Pure, undulated lust… animal attraction…
I trace the skin at my throat…
Fluttering to the touch of my hand.
The door swings open, and I catch my breath.
Attraction, as strong as the gravitational force of Earth, pulls at
me.
Drawn to you, like a moth to a flame…
I reach out for you, to pull you near.
I look into your eyes…
I want to be drawn into the deep blue sea before me…
One of my greatest weaknesses…
Those eyes…
You reach for my face,
Directing my gaze to mesh with yours.
Your lips quirk into a small pleased smile.
I know you could break me with one strategically placed touch.
You look over my face again,
Gloating, smug, aroused, … proud
Storm clouds darken your eyes.
The impending storm breaks,
Along with your self-control.
We sway together,
As if tossed by a wind.
You lean in to place your lips on mine.
Within a breath's distance, you turn your lips to my cheek,
Trailing a blazing path to my exposed neck.
My knees weaken, and I collapse in your arms.
You lay me down with a lover's care.
As you stretch out beside me,
I reach up to touch your lips.
You smile at me, a devastating trap,
As you leaned in once more.
