As I look into your sweet face,
I can still remember the place.
That I met you there,
With your silken hair,
And the fragrance of your embrace.

As I stand by your side,
I have nothing to hide.
But I don't understand,
Why you'd still hold my hand,
And believe I had lied.

As I whisper in your ear,
Only words that you can hear.
`If love you would give,
Then for you I'd live,'
And forever hold you near.
