Every morning I struggle
To let go of this jealousy
It’s not as bad as it use to be
But just the thought
Of you crying
On someone else’s shoulders
Tears me apart inside.
Why can’t I be the only one
That makes you laugh?
Just me and you
I know its selfish of me to ask that
And I am making an effort to change
So if she treats you
The way you deserve
To be treated
It doesn’t matter what I am
As long as I'm on your list
