-------------------------------------------------
As she lies upon her bed, softly I kiss her head.
I love you, don't leave me, I said.
Closing my eyes and settling down, I wrap my arms around her and listen, but there is no sound.
Her breathing is slow and even, I can't bear the thought of her ever leavin.
I hear the soft flutter of wings, and look to see the dream fairies and hear them sing.
I see one fly next to her ear, and hope it is whispering thoughts of me and that she hears.
As they sprinkle their dust, it falls all over us.
My eyelids become heavy, and I can't keep awake, taking me to the dream land lake.
There she is sitting in the sand, I walk over to her and take her hand.
She looks at me and smiles so sweet, I lean in to kiss her deep.
This tis but a dream, but I know by the suns first morning beam.
That I will wake up and there she will be, still laying next to me.
