I require you
It’s as simple as that
I’m like a candle lit at both ends
I burn without heed

The fact that I can’t have you
Makes the need no less profound
Our surroundings are magnetic
I am drawn to you without thought

Your smile says the things your mouth cannot
You require me too
We communicate with our eyes across the room
You are the vibe I feel

You shimmer and shine to me
The object of my desire
I smile, as I understand your unspoken intentions
I feel and am felt with unseen hands

The intimacy of it seeps over me
Like hot syrup
Even though people surround us
I don’t give a damn who looks or what they see

My heart aches unbearably for you
I ache for what I cannot have
I will want you as long as my heart beats
I require you; it’s as simple as that
