As You Rain

It must be the rain,
that whispers through my thought.
The closest in comparison -
to the way I see,
and feel you.

As a sky that
opens to spill it's drops
upon the thirsty earth below
The ground awaits her eruption,
to take in all that she can give.

Absorbing what is,
the quenching of life,
through parched roots
of all existence,
That without-
would surely wilt and die.

As you are the sky,
And to I -

All that flourishes so deep
and so complete-
And to the greater sum
sends inner balance.
of all that we are,
long enough to dream
of all we wish to become.
