You take my hand and lead me astray
Even if I beg you won't let me stay
I remember a time when my life
Had a meaning other than strife.

Who are you to say I'm to blame?
I wish things would stay the same
I need you more than I can admit
Though I know you cannot commit

Your former life still calls to you
I must admit there's nothing I can do
I pray each night to be set free
I doubt you know what you do to me

So take my hand lets ago away
I don't mind if I'm led astray
I'll love you even if you refuse
To let this life be the one you choose
