As I sat on the bench overlooking the lake
I pause and think of just whats at stake
I know another door closes with each mistake
And I get choked up with each breath I take

I know my life can go only one of two ways
Hinging on the choice I make is the rest of my days
And in the back of my head my fear always stays

I thought I knew what I wanted at first
But for new options I often thirst
As each day i struggle with another outburst

One way I can take brings me closer to danger
As I strive to be a brave Army Ranger
And my live depends on some unknown stranger

The lesser thought option brings to me more education
And on the job training for a future occupation
As I could give my brain much stimulation

Those are the options of which there are two
So now I ask you what would you do?

choices

With the military being controlled by a bunch of greedy civilian types ~ I would go to night school.

I would do what suited me best and not let someone else live my life for me.
