Atmosphere

A Golden moon floats above,
Giving perfect atmosphere for our love.
A million tiny diamonds winking at our secrets,
A perfect night sky no clouds, planes, or jets.
Lying here in your wonderful serenity.
I wish I could stay here from now unto infinity.
I look down into your eyes, those beautiful crystalline seas,
I realize that this roller coaster is more than it seems.
Looking back at me in such tantalizing peace,
Both of us know our love will never cease.
I bend down to kiss you wanting to be closer.
I’m intoxicated even though I know I’m sober.
Our lips meet and I begin to hear many horses thunder.
So much at one time my body begins to shudder.
It isn’t horses but our hearts’ furious flutter.
Together nothing can make our dreams shatter.
Not caring about each other’s imperfections,
How to explain our strange connection?
A perfect circle we’re bonded to.
Born to love each other through and through.
Each other’s ballast in a rocky world.
Only our trust makes us so bold.
I lie back down your head on my chest,
Best of all I must confess
Is to lie here with you content to cuddle.
I hug you close though none to subtle.
The stars still twinkle enjoying the show…
It’s not that often you see true love’s glow.
Your breathing slackens you’ve gone to sleep,
You’re in my arms, mine to keep.
A golden moon starts to set,
As I fall asleep I begin to wonder?
Are you dreaming of me and this atmosphere yet?

Wow-

I don't know what to make of this. How, exactly, do you lie in someone else's serenity? I'm not sure that makes sense. Trim some of the excess words. Stars as diamonds and eyes as seas (or pools) are overdone cliches.

I think "unto" infinity should have been "until" infinity. Keep trying, it's not all bad.
