Autumn Arena


She coaxes winter winds
dancing with fingertips outstretched
flames stroking the sky.

Fallen fiery motes
are aglow on the ground.

And a
whirlwind of sparks
scatters on the breeze
composing sandpaper scratches
along cold kissed streets.
