I hang my robe on the outdoor hook
yours too, I take a look
two cups of coffee, the morning light
a memory of, us, last night, when it was
Raining hard, blowing steady
I ask now if, you are ready
you smile and say, can hardly wait
on your calendar you marked this date,
The equinox, beginning of Fall
yellow leaves, wall-to-wall
a sip of coffee, a summer adieu
Autumnal Equinox for two …
