when you back
you require me
stir

when you back
I am lodged
you strip escape

when you back
your love is command
only tighter

when you back
I reach, feel
open front

when we back

Dear Jazzy Poet

This poem makes me think of Count Basie's piano playing, where the space speaks as loud as the notes and together the two sing something wonderful. The somewhat ambiguous nature of its images give it staying power, like a fascinating, slightly blurred photograph that one is drawn to understand.
