rock star vision hid by bad habits
addictions to pain
turns to drugs
can't cure all
asks what is love?
shave your eyebrows off
and touch the lawn
I won't be there when you crawl
wanting more
don't know how to ask
knock you on your ass
noise is sticky
gets you distracted
turn off the radio
and jump out the window
will you fly
or will you fall?
I'll kick your coffin
and kiss your guitar

Angelineabout 20 years agoI'm staying on your good side! This piece needs a little pruning, imo, but please work with it--it's so good. I feel it has the potential to be a real showcase poem if you clean it up some. :)
