I love to watch you sleep, as your eyelashes flutter
On your cheeks, softly, dancing like snowflakes
You whimper, moaning as you toss and turn
Your body heats me, no need for a blanket
I watch your chest rise and fall
And push my lungs to follow your relaxed rhythm
I watch your lips as you lick them wet in your sleep
The muscles in your face clench and relax
I want to touch you, to let you feel me
Yet I hold back, just to watch and learn
Learn what you look like
When all the stress is gone
When all that is left is what you always try to hide
The innocence I always see
Beneath your hardcore shell
That I only see completly
When I watch you sleep
