Barren no more

Kori rises at the cause of the tumult below
Quietly she closes the door behind her
They are both asleep
She descends the staircase
Her short nightgown awash in teal blue
"Shouldn't you be eating that cereal in your mom's basement?"
she queries
The black framed plasma drenched in Laker gold
"What happened to my reinstatement, girl?"
he queries
The plasma Hellish sharp as the ball rockets out to Horry
"Tim says 'no.'"
she rapidly retorts
The plasma defiantly glares as Horry says nary a word
Luva rises in Los Angeles
She ascends the staircase
the child, their child
sound & safe above
Kori, barren no more
