Battle Rage
Star lit sky, it's over night
Silence so loud, little in sight
Breaking loud, the battle rage
Countless deaths, heros made
In the center, throughout the land
Each rage a win, taken by hand
Some will be we, others be them
To fight for rights, where it stem
All will rush to the battle rage
Wounded push on, turn the battle page
Early morning, the sun will bring
To light the way, shown everything
The sky is gray, bombs in the air
Looking up, fearfull and stare
Devastation, debris all around
Nothing is there, no bodies found
Another win for the greater we
Them that are left ask a final plea
Plea honored, holding them round
Bombs shouting, shaking the ground
Gray haze spreads, losing the sight
War is still on, we have to fight
Battle rages, we see a flash, why
Didn't cover the rear, bodies fly
Soldiers of both, families behind
Praying for peace, hope will find
Few of the many, make it home
Some are nowhere, left to rome
Soldiers fought, need to take care
Proud of our soldiers, it's only fair
We and them, no one is wrong
Someday, someone will write a song
