I have to go so far away
To make our mean, median, mode
High enough to satisfy my hunger
It is dangerous out there

Always to be the one to visit distant places
Bringing postcards and souviniers
Slide shows and immunizations

Won't you come home to me
From a foreign place
A land I cannot pronounce?

Speak in a language I do not understand
In words I have not heard before
Touch me in a way I have not felt

Give me a rude awakening
Be a man.

I want you to want something
I find revolting, shocking at least
I want you to request some act that
I might consider saying "no way"
But you don’t
You don't

And it is dangerous out there.

Affection

Weird way of showing affection ~ will he agree with her request ~ to be a man.

You're behaving in ways most typical for a man; traveling the world on business, becoming wise in the ways of the world. YDD is right about that ~ most men really prefer that type woman to the typical stay at home vanilla wife.

Vibrant piece you have here.

A unusual approach

Some must lead and some must follow.

Many men wish they had a partner like you.

You create an interesting use of the concepts with "mean, median, mode".

Not many know the difference, and you create at least a six-way play.

Nice!

Edit:

"souviniers" is most commonly "souvenirs"
