Obsolescence chases fashion
Fades so fast it feels surreal
As you scurry down your catwalk
Like a hamster in a wheel

Borrowing a silhouette
You wear a mask to change your age
Swimming in a diamond maelstrom
Dancing in a gilded cage

Fashion plate you know we love you
Hipster princess billboard scene whore
Fashion victim in your chains
We venerate our captive Queen

Your poetry is so compact. Every word counts. Beauty is an illusion if ever there was one. I like this line: "Hipster princess billboard scene whore." A lot happening there, fer sure. Good work!
