There's John and Paul and Charlie, and Ringo Starr,
Four young lads from England who went very far.
Their special kind of music drove the kids mad,
Most of what they played made everybody glad!

They played songs of love, and working real long hours,
Of yellow submarines, and fields of flowers.
Their music had a beat, that was sweet and wild,
One of their best songs was about a lost child.

Beetle Mania went out to every land,
What they played was special by this Beetle band.
Though there were some Hardheads with their lips all curled,
The Beetle's music brought some joy to our world!!

To the young in spirit, that may be so; but to the sad old bastards {anyone over 30}, their songs reeked. Funny thing is, after all these years, I'm still 29.
