The search can be trying and take many years,
and we settle for less bit wanting to take on our fears
Our daily lives they take place and unfold,
so we act like we're happy as each day it grows old

It come unexpected like a flash in the night,
our emotions rush forward knowing this is right
A chance meeting of another that brings back that spark,
but we take it no further and step back where it's dark

All the years of the sadness, being lonely the hate,
Do we dare take it farther, before it's too late?
Will you do as most do when they called out last dance?
Before it's too late, take my hand, take a chance

~~
