Come to me in that cool, grey hour
Just before I fully wake,
When my mind is defenseless
And my desires lay bare;
A time when pretense is unmasked
And my thoughts torn open,
That I may no longer deny
The dearest longings of my soul;
When you are no longer my lost love,
But the eager lover who only yesterday
Made my body, mind and spirit
Overflow with joy.
And in this hour
When there is barely light for shadows
And but a whisper of the dawn,
My manhood swells with needing you,
And cries out for the sweet release
That only comes with your familiar touch.
And my heart aches as I wonder
If ever I will know passion again.

emotion

Very powerful, and very sad (to me). It 'feels' like the remains of an erotic dream of a past, lost love. Very moving!
