Just another sliver
I found you in my heart
Deeper than I ever thought
And buried for much longer
A piece of the mosaic
I sense the old obsession
As he stirs once more
And takes your form
His mortal avatar
Long before I knew it
I gave you to the master
The one who haunts my thoughts and dreams
And burns me deep inside
He wears your smile
His fire enshrined behind your eyes
Like lasers
Sparkling like the night
Shrouded in a veil of broken mirrors
You are his silhouette
He turns to me
Rewards me
With a shiver
