Click hereWith you I had never felt,
more cherished, more desired,
more loved.
I was an angel,
when I heard your voice,
saw your font on my screen.
My heart took flight and soared,
to where wishes are granted,
and dreams come true.
But suddenly I wasn’t,
your beloved Angel,
for you were no longer there.
What did I do wrong,
to make you go away,
will you ever tell me?
Your angel crashed,
back down to earth,
wings completely torn asunder.
Wailing in the wind,
railing at the Gods
why, please God tell me why?
Was it cold feet,
a mean game, a cruel hoax,
will I ever know?
I hope one day,
to sleep sweet again,
wrapped in angels wings.
But for now, all I can do,
is grieve,
and cry.
A sweet poignant rendering of the loss of affection by one considered to be an Angel.
