absorbed, bandaged.
Wrap it up,
walk it off-
let it go with the gasp.

Ignored, reduced
a dulll ache-
shhhh
soothe it with strength.
A reminder-
gotta be more careful;
navigate those corners,
repeat, repeat-
Sacrosanct.

Missed a streak though,
a stained cheek.
Curious eyes question,
answer with a dismissive smile
a glance to the window-
rain drops claw the glass.
