BIG SOUTH WEATHER no. 5

Big South Weather no.5,
item received in "private news",
against the rocks the waves thrive,
but we're not there, so there's no use.

We used to play with them a lot,
in winter sunny afternoons,
when hearts were open, love was hot,
in crimson sunsets and full moons.

Big South Weather, we're not there,
your waves have taken us away,
no one your anger now can stare,
no one to dream, no one to pray.

Those lovely smiles, that playful mood,
that little dog, a bundle of joy,
the smell of earth, the smell of wood,
I had a girl, you had a boy.

That is a time that has been,
Big South Weather no. 1,
the waves now wash the sea shore clean,
surviving still, our time is done.
