to enjoy the cooling weather.
As I strolled along the path
I chanced upon a feather.
What a lovely thing, says I
small and slim and blue.
So I paused to pick it up
and take it home to you.
You were there when I came in
and what should I see?
You’d found a feather of your own
and brought it home to me.
