I felt it today
It didn’t just go away
You crept up from the bottom of
my thoughts and now you’re in the
forefront
With someone else
And I imagined and
I knew
But it hit hard
When it was in front of my face
It is reality
I am not yours
You are not mine
And it tingled
Where you once bit me.
