The resident alien
was a typical genuine imitation
of a government organization
with as much military intelligence
as they could never imagine.

I mean, good grief,
why is she so terribly pleased,
in her tight slacks
as she steps from the small crowd
with her definite maybe,
passive aggressive approach?

They wish to be alone together
but it's just a working vacation...

ahh, bitter sweet sorrow.

Good poem from you as usual, but yeah, the title will scare away some readers. ;)

I almost didn't read this because of the title. The title came across to me as a big whopping cliche. I expected it to be followed by cliche, upon cliche, etc., you get the idea. Then I noticed the authors name and thought this might be worth reading. I am glad I read it, this poem rocks.
