Black Pearl

byTeeTee©

My words may not come out
nor be as eloquent
or as poetic as yours
flowing with such grace
yet intensity
to reach all

But my feelings are-

rough at the edges like an
uncut diamond
i think, feel, and see
in rainbows
just as the prisms shines
thru glass in the sun

The depth of my being
as deep as the sea
the same as you
yet unique, like the clam
beneath the oceans floor
buried in the sand

Hiding it's precious gift
for only those who seek
something special
distinctly rare, open slowly
you can see the virtue
of the Black Pearl
abiding there
