Short people must see the stars differently. Orion and his belt. A smiling muppet of large proportions. Two balls for eyes and smudge-marked pupils. The moon, a button, half in and out of black wool. This is how I feel. Rushed letters for years spurting out my chained and soldered need. Spitting and frothing for another chance to spark when touched. Everytime. I kept the Ace of Hearts in the shape of an owl and the Ace of Spades, always a raven. Sometimes an octopus.
