BLUE ESSENCE
A little of the color we saw,
a little of the passion we felt,
a few of the stars that still glow,
but all of the cards that we dealt.
These elements never abstain,
impossible as it may seem,
our essence in blue they contain,
our love in its absolute scheme.

That is all that remains of our presence,
our blue absence replaced by our essence.
A little of your scent still around,
a little of my endless desire,
ecstatic in sunset background,
our bodies consumed by that fire.
And then it is time for a talk,
in earnest between me and you,
a word or a kiss as we walk,
our essence contained in that blue.
