outside the sky is bright
and blue; the warm wind tells me
things I doubt are true

Bob Marley smiles on
my wall, smiles and that is all:
just like at the mall

old hat, new old hat
that makes no sense: nothing does
wrote it just because

my son's with fever
miles away: please don't tell me
to "have a good day"

I didn't want to write
haiku: make love, feast, read or
anything people do

my lava lamp it
dances and glows, shines and flows:
pink electric rose
