Bodies and Souls
by
Robert Reams

Faces of clearest innocence, visages of age and pain. joyous smiles. Characters shining with lack of guile.

I have known them

Fine downy hair above lips.
soft sweet curve at backbones end, down there too. Swift foot, thighs of milky white.

I have kissed them.

Pulsing flags of wanton heat, faces aglow with fevered need. Honeyed juices flowing,

I have touched them.

Staccato breaths, hot and foetid, gasps and whispers, whimpers and screams. Calls to one's maker for quick release. Coos of sated flesh. Whispered bits of poems and promises.

I have heard them.

Pulsing, grasping hands, mouths gaping, bodies blossoming, ripened and red and swelled with want.

I have filled them.

Morning and evening. And all was good.
