Watching body collapse slow
Unable to hold together
     Feeling muscles erode
     Tendons untethered
Coming apart at the seams
Without hope to redeem

No longer able to move
Without stripping gears more
     Now cannot do
     What was built for
Tearing itself apart fast
This breakdown cannot last

Strength fading stability gone
Balance shot endurance lost
     Form now gone
     With high pain cost
Shambling and shivered
And hell being delivered

Weeping at the fact
Of hopeless future shown
     Can no longer act
     Rest now unknown
Constant suffering the life
Feeling the twist of the knife

Helpless to ignore the fate
On the horizon ahead
     Can only wait
     Until the day dead
With baited breath abide
Until life is set aside

Watching body collapse slow
Unable to hold together
     Feeling muscles erode
     Tendons untethered
Coming apart at the seams
Without hope to redeem
