in my small inside pocket
when my life hurts like
a sharpened knife
and it stabs whenever you're near.
So, I want your perfect life,
your perfect friends
your loving family
your enormous wealth
all to myself.
I'll take it out
whenever I feel small
and put it on like a mask
to hide my broken face.
