Broken

It took one look she didn't stand a chance.
 His Axel Rose looks were sure to entrance.
He had eyes so dark and deep she couldn't help but get lost.
The words he spoke danced into her ears, and wove themselves around her heart.
Her undying devotion was the cost

Fate stepped in and threw a curve-ball
The pieces lay on the ground shattered.
She screamed her pain into the rainfall
Where once there was love an emptiness is harbored

So many promises spoken
For him she did fall
But now her heart's broken
