Each day I watch our distance
It grows endless every moment
I try to step to you
Instead I fall

I wish that I could hold you tight
Embrace you close when at night
Never let you down
Never let you go…

But every time that I see you
I feel so small inside…
Every time that I hear you
I know we are apart…

You wake in a sweat I am calling
I don’t know if you recognize
The walls I build
To hide inside my shame

I wish that you could find a way
To smash my walls and set me free
From hiding here
And afraid to call you love

But every time that I see you
I feel so small inside…
Every time that I hear you
I know we are apart…

I feel so small inside
I feel so small inside

A voice that cries out in the distance
No one hears the call...
